I usually do not take the time out of my busy schedule to write these types of letters however after my experience with using one of your competitor's products and switching to Control4 I felt as a business owner myself I had to take the time.
I built a custom home in 2005, and used what I thought the best product for the investment in Home Control. I first went to your competition I told them I wanted a home that had sound in every room and outside, High Definition in every room even garage, bathrooms and kitchen all total about 12 High Definition TV's. Also I wanted to have a home theatre room and control of all lights security, wireless touch pads, hard drive for music, XM radio, DVD control; in addition I wanted to be able to control my home form the internet. They gave me a quote and installation begun. Soon after the installation I discovered the system was not doing what I wanted it to do and when I asked why? It was all at an extra price. While I fully understand scalable systems and add-ons I feet as if once I had the system the company had me and any extras came at a very high price with no concern of a loyal customer. This left me feeling like I was being taking advantage of so I went looking for another system.
Lucky for me I found Audio Video Extremes and Control4. I explained my situation and they came up with a plan to get me everything I wanted in my original specification and a plan to get it installed. The process was painless, competitive priced and now I truly have the home control I wanted in the first place. The Control4 System is truly an alternative to very high priced Crestron or AMX and delivers a powerful competitive punch, I guess I'm saying best price for the performance. The funny thing is I am still am looking for more things I can do in my house using the Control4 products that's how happy I am.
