A/V Client Specialist
Audio Video Extremes (A/VX)’s A/V Client Specialist is the first point of contact for customers calling A/VX or entering the Baxter showroom. This role creates a welcoming, high-touch experience while supporting the sales and technical teams. The A/V Client Specialist helps guide customers, answers basic questions, and ensures the showroom environment reflects the Company’s commitment to premium theatre and audio/video solutions. The ideal candidate has a customer-service mindset with a friendly, approachable demeanor with interest in home theatre, audio/video, or smart technology.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Customer Greeting & Engagement
- Welcome customers as they enter the store and ensure they feel acknowledged and supported
- Direct visitors and callers to appropriate team members based on their needs
- Answer incoming calls professionally and route them appropriately
- Showroom Support
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting front-of-house environment
- Assist with basic product questions and provide promotional materials / resources
- Monitor customer traffic and communicate with team members to ensure coverage for breaks
- Support the sales team with special event(s) preparation and dismantling
- Administrative & System Support
- Maintain accurate records in Baxter’s systems, including inventory
- Assist customers purchasing simple home theatre products (e.g., HDMI cables, speaker wire, adapters) using the point-of-sale system
- Support sales staff with light administrative tasks (ex: follow-up communication, ensure smooth handoffs between customers and A/VX staff)
- Log customer visits or inquiries into CRM or tracking tools
- Brand Visibility
- Represent A/VX’s values through professional communication and appearance
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative showroom environment
- Stay informed about new products, promotions, and showroom updates
- All other duties as assigned

Qualifications
- Required Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in customer service, sales, A/V, or related fields. Prior retail or customer-facing experience preferred. The work experience requirement may not apply to internal promotions.
Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 50-75 pounds regularly, move safely over uneven terrain, and climb ladders while carrying up to 40 pounds. The role requires standing, walking, bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, and reaching for extended periods.
